qtVlm Companion

qtVlm-Companion is designed to work together with qtVlm and will only work with a running qtVlm on a computer or a mobile device. It connects to qtVlm via WIFI or Bluetooth and displays many kinds of instruments and data.

You can configure up to 3 screens with any data you want to display (TWS, TWA, SOG, etc., more than 30 different data types are available). All can also be displayed as histograms.

In addition, qtVlm-Companion comes with 4 preconfigured screens:

- WP and next WP information.

- Race Start Mode, you can top the buoy and the committee boat, start a countdown, etc.

- Anchoring.

- Map, as displayed on qtVlm main app, with charts, AIS, etc.

You can manage sound and/or vibration alarms according to many criteria.

qtVlm-Companion is designed to work on an Android-Wear device and can also be used on a phone or a tablet.

The free version has all features enabled during 30 minutes, starting when a valid connection has been established with qtVlm. After this single 10 minutes period, the app is no longer functional and must be purchased in order to work permanently.
